The SCDOFG was founded in 2012, under the initiative of academics, relatives and friends of Professor Farid Gabteni (1957-2022). If it received the approval of this one for its foundation, the SCDOFG remains independent from him.

Proponents of the SCDOFG firmly believe that the work carried out by Farid Gabteni represents a major historical contribution, of a high intellectual standing, capable of heightening awareness, across society, of original Islam and its universal values.

Preserving and disseminating this work is therefore a responsibility which befalls all of those who wish for the truth to be known, for light to be distinguished from the darkness, for peace to overcome the sword.
